Oggi la giornata della resistenza al partito comunista cinese siamo riuniti in una trentina a Milano in piazza Geremia Bonomelli per manifestare in modo pacifico contro la repressione della libertà, della democrazia e dei diritti umani da parte del Partito Comunista Cinese (PCC) si è intensificata in tutta la Cina e abbiamo assistito a un forte aumento degli attacchi alle comunità che vivono sotto il suo governo.

* Il nuovo rapporto è stato rilasciato dall’Alleanza Inter-Parlamentare sulla Cina (IPAC) il data 22 settembre 2020 sottoscritta da 58 Parlamentari che rappresentano 16 Paesi dichiara che ci sono nuove prove dove suggeriscono che il Governo cinese stia implementando un sistema di lavoro forzato in stile Xinjiang anche in Tibet, una regione che fino ad ora non veniva associata a tali accuse.

* Il Tibet occupato è uno dei posti meno liberi al mondo

* La Cina si sta espandendo e sta diventando una minaccia globale ai diritti delle persone che rischia di espandersi anche in altri continenti.

* Milioni di uiguri detenuti in campi di internamento di massa

* Perdita delle libertà fondamentali a Hong Kong

* Cancellazione della cultura e della lingua della Mongolia meridionale

* Intimidazioni e bullismo geopolitico di Taiwan

* Detenzione e scomparsa di innumerevoli avvocati, femministe e attiviste cinesi

È tempo che i governi resistano alla Cina e costruiscano una forte azione multilaterale per sfidare efficacemente il regime totalitario del Partito Comunista Cinese.

La repressione del Partito Comunista Cinese contro la libertà, la democrazia e i diritti umani si è intensificata e stiamo vedendo un grosso aumento degli attacchi a tutte le minoranze che vivono sotto il suo governo. Innumerevoli persone sono state arrestate e torturate per atti che vanno dal dissenso e protesta alla semplice esprimere la propria cultura.

On the auspicious occasion of his 85th birthday, His Holiness the Dalai Lama addressed the following message to members of the Tibetan community from his residence in Dharamsala, HP, India.

“Today is July 6th, my birthday. It’s not possible for large numbers of people to hold a big celebration because of restrictions due to the pandemic. And it’s not necessary either. However, if you want to celebrate my birthday, I would like to ask you to recite the Mani mantra (Om Mani Padme Hung) at least a thousand times.

The reason for my saying this is that we Tibetans have a unique connection with Avalokiteshvara. After we came into exile in India and after I settled here in Dharamshala, the statue of Chenrezig Wati Sangpo was brought to me here from western Tibet. When the monks of Dzongkar Chode Monastery were moving from Dharamshala to southern India, I did dough-ball divination to see whether the statue should go with them or remain here with me. The result indicated that Wati Sangpo preferred to stay here with me — so I serve as his caretaker.

Today we celebrate the 85th birthday of His Holiness the Great Fourteenth Dalai Lama, Jetsun Jampel Ngawang Lobsang Yeshi Tenzin Gyatso. The Kashag and the Tibetan people, those inside Tibet and those in exile pay our heartfelt greetings to His Holiness, the most revered leader of Tibet, the world’s leading spokesman for peace, the epitome of Buddha’s wisdom and unconditional compassion.

His Holiness often describes himself as an ‘ordinary monk.’ For Tibetans, His Holiness is the glorious sun. He is a rare and unequaled leader who has been shouldering a nation and its people from the time he was sixteen years old. His Holiness is the peerless teacher who has been guiding Tibetans through every hardship, both personal and national.

Today, the 16th day of the 5th month of the Tibetan Royal Year 2147, falling in the 17th sexantry of the Tibetan Royal Year calendar system, which corresponds to the 6th day of July, is an especially important day of great auspiciousness. It marks the day on which His Holiness the Great 14th Dalai Lama, the protector and refuge, bar none, of all sentient beings that include the Gods in the heavens; the master of the corpus of all the Buddhist learning on this earth; the destined deity of all sentient beings of the Snowland of Tibet; the miracle emanation in human form of the most exalted lotus-holding Bodhisattva who exemplifies the greatness of a Buddhist monk persevering in steadfast observance of all his vows as such; the one who bears great affection for all sentient beings irrespective of the absence of any prior acquaintance with them; a great champion of world peace; and the unsurpassable leader and guiding light of all subjects of Tibet whose full name, for the sake of formality, is Jetsun Jampal Ngawang Lobsang Yeshe Tenzin Gyatso Sisum Wanggyur Tsungpa Mepey-de Pel-Sangpo; and the spiritual lord of the three realms attains the age of 86 by Tibetan tradition, and 85 by the universal calendar system. On this day of perfect bliss, we, on behalf of all Tibetans in Tibet and in exile, offer greetings with unshakable devotion of body, speech, and mind to His Holiness the Dalai Lama repeated a countless times and, along with it, offer fervent prayers that His Holiness may live for a hundred aeons so as to provide us with great kindness the nectar-like teachings of clairvoyant guidance which is akin to the continuity of a summer stream at all times.
